OmegaDrones

Rogue battle drones run amok in the Omega facility.

The Omega incident is the name for the January 22, 2510 incident in which prototype battle drones went rogue in the Omega facility and began sabotaging Arsenal Megacorp facilities. Omega is the final letter of the Greek alphabet, and is used to mean end.

Events[]

On January 22, 2510, "a squadron of prototype battlefield drones...went rogue [in the Omega facility], sabotaged their battle training vault, then proceeded to infiltrate our new Devastator manufacturing system -- rendering it ineffective." This halted production of the Devastator line of weapons, which soon went out of stock. At that time, James Marr, head of Facility Security and Employee Stabilization, did not believe there was any threat to employees.[1]

On February 19, 2510, Plummer announced that he wanted employees' help in eradicating the rogue battle drones. By this time, they had taken over Block 12 East, which is dangerously close to Arsenal Megacorp's central power grid. The drones made "new Drone types we've never seen before." Plummer called for "swift action."[2]

Employees were given access to the Junction and Annex facilities, where drones were expected to strike. On March 12, 2010, they did; drones invaded those facilities and employees worked in teams to stop them.[3]

Employees have been given access to Courtyard on March 25, and later Factory, Warehouse, Rooftop and Warehouse
