The Cloaking powerup makes the player transparent for a short period of time. While not providing complete invisibility, the power up makes it difficult for other players to see and shoot at you. The Cloaking Field is useful even for players with Sentry or Sniper armor because the powerup also cloaks their weapon, whereas the armors do not. The enemy's targeting reciprocal will not turn red upon scanning a cloaked player, and it cloaks the player even when moving. However, if Auto-Fire is turned on, any crosshairs aimed at the player will still Auto-Fire.
This powerup is good if you need a quick getaway if there is no health recharges in the area or if you want to just confuse your opponent.
If you know how to use it, invisibility can be a good powerup. Wait for a Berserker Shield, or snipe and watch your opponents look around endlessly for you.
Take advantage of this powerup, Use it to get close to an enemy and get easy headshots by using an Auto Rifle.
You can use the Cloaking Field to hide in a corner, away from the rampaging player with a Berserker Shield or a Damage Amplifier.
The reason why this powerup is useful is because in a three way fight, the non cloaked people will find it easier to fight each other, not you, the harder target. This is your chance to pick them off, if you have good aim.
